    The Riverside Walk

    The first phase of The Riverside Walk (shown above and below) which runs along the beautiful river and woodlands of the Montalto Estate was started in mid 1998 is now long completed and was officially opened on 9th March 1999. It has proved to be a very popular public attraction.

    This project involved a partnership, between Ballynahinch Regeneration Ltd. Down District Council, D.O.E. Water Service & The Rivers Agency.

    The next Phase will continue the Walk from the bridge at Dromore St to Kinedale Park on the Lisbum Rd.
