  • Community Festival Success!

Ballynahinch Regenerations first community festival along with the International Horse Carriage Festival was a great success!

A Great variety of family events for the young and old gave Ballynahinch a day to remember.    Why not have a look at our photo pages.

    • The Market House and The Square were the main venues for all the action:
    • Exhibition by The Down County Museum concentrating on Ballynahinch Transport through the ages.
    • A Duck Race in the Ballynahinch River.
    • Clay modelling with Hollow Bridge Crafts.
    • Irish Dancing from our local groups.
    • Disco kept all ages entertained.
    • Face painter on The Square for all the children produced some unusual faces.
    • Skittles and darts competition provided great enjoyment for the sporting fans.
    • A magic show Johnny Kielty gave created a sense of awe and amazement.
    • Procession of horses and carriages vintage tractors, cars and floats through the town on Saturday afternoon.
    • To round the day off we had a line dancing night in The Market House
We would like to thank everyone who took part in the programme, and to all our sponsors, hope to see you all again next year!
